We are open and ready to serve you. Our practice is committed to reducing the spread of COVID-19 and continues to participate in the recommended public health guidance from federal, provincial and municipal governments.
We are glad to see Alberta entering Stage 3 of its re-opening process as of July 1. Public health measures have now been lifted except for isolation/quarantine requirements and masking requirements in longterm health care settings and public transit.
As of July 5, the City of Calgary has also repealed its mask by-law and face masks are no longer mandatory within public spaces. However, for your safety, our staff will continue to wear masks and follow enhanced disinfection protocols. We will also continue to see patients by appointment only. This includes visits for selecting, fitting, and dispensing your eyewear, as well as for eye exams.
As a courtesy, we encourage all patients to continue to wear a mask for their office visit and to use hand sanitizer upon entry to the premises. If you have any symptoms of cough, fever, runny nose, or shortness of breath, please call or e-mail us to reschedule your visit. Debit and credit cards are preferred for payments at this time and our staff would be happy to process insurance benefits on your behalf. Medically related visits are covered for all Albertans under Alberta Health Care, as well as routine eye exams for children (18 and under) and seniors (65 and up).
